Dr. Kayla Watkins-Jones
Dr. Watkins is a general and minimally invasive surgeon who’s originally from Duncan, OK! After starting with our practice in 2021, she has enjoyed being able use her six years of surgical training to help our patients in any way she can, and looks forward to continuing to give back to the community.
About Me
Once she graduated from high school, Dr. Watkins went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma and graduated summa cum laude. She continued her education at Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and then went on to complete a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA before returning back to her hometown!
She and her husband, Alex, have two dogs together: Winnie and Kirby. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their families when they’re not at home enjoying a meal that they’ve cooked together or spending time in the outdoors!
